Do you travel for weddings?

I definitely do! Travel cost and arrangements are added on to my wedding pricing fee. Please inquire for more details.

How do I book you?

I know that choosing your photographer is a huge step, so I find it’s best if we meet and get to know each other before making a commitment. We can talk about what you envision, what I have to offer, how I work, and what you’re looking for in a photographer. Meeting in person is ideal, and I am happy to do so at your convenience. If you do not live in the area, Skyping is always a great option. First step is to fill out the form on my contact page.

Will you be shooting the wedding?

Yes. You are hiring me to shoot the wedding, not another photographer working under my name.

When and how do you get paid?

For weddings, I will send you a contract. A portion of the amount is due with the signed contract as a deposit, and the remainder is scheduled out a few weeks prior to the wedding.

All other sessions have a mandatory deposit to book the day and the remainder is paid in full 2-3 days prior to the session.

How long will it be before I receive my images?

For weddings, you should receive your images in 7 to 9 weeks.

For a portrait session, you should receive your images in 2 to 3 weeks.

How many photographs will I receive?

The amount of images you receive depends on how long your wedding day is. When we develop the contract, we will specify both how long I will be there taking pictures, but the amount you receive will vary. Typically, you will receive between 600 to 900 images, but again, it will be determined based on your specific event and session booked. Personally, I try to give you all the ones that I can and try not to limit the number.

Can I share my images on social media?

Yes! It makes me so happy when my clients share their wedding images with the ones they love. The only thing I ask is that the images I provide you are not re-edited or sold. I retain rights to all the images but you do receive a reproduction release to print and share online. So this means no filters (like on Instagram), unfortunately.

It rained on my wedding day. Do you provide after sessions for the bride and groom?

Absolutely! I want you to have the best memories possible, and this is a fun chance for you to get back into your wedding attire and have another shoot if time and/or weather interfered on your big day. We can specify more details in your contract.

Nikon or Canon?

Canon all the way!

What happens if your camera breaks?

Not to worry! I always have at least one backup camera on me at all times, plus a few spares in my bag. Also, depending on the size/length of your wedding, I will have a second photographer with me, who will have their own equipment as well.

Do you do other types of photography besides weddings?

Yes, I am happy to photograph family sessions, lifestyle, events, engagement photos, birth announcements, plus more. Contact me for more information and check out my investment page!

How far should we book in advance?

To ensure I’m available on your special day, I suggest booking 6 to 12 months in advance. But if your wedding is closer than that, just reach out and I’ll see if I’m available!

As for other types of sessions, I would suggest booking at least a month out to ensure that you have the date just for you!

Where are you based?

I am based in Louisville, Kentucky as well as the Chicagoland area, but I travel just about anywhere to capture you!
